Processing Squash Seeds
When it is time to process the squash seeds, it is important to make sure that the flesh and seeds are separated from each other well enough so that you can dry the seeds quickly and effectively.
Seed grower, farmer and former seed house manager of Seed Savers Exchange, Tom Wahlberg, wonderfully demonstrates how he processes squash seeds in the clip above.
Please note that the scale Tom grows his seed crops is substantially larger than many gardeners would do. You may need to modify the equipment you need accordingly, to scale down for your own purposes.
